phpclasses.org is a site with tons of tidbits in PHP code... need to check email in PHP? This site has a file that you can add to your app and it will make checking email a snap. Need to convert pdf to txt to doc? If there isn't a single app to do it, there are various apps that will convert from one format to another.

You'll have to know a thing or two about coding to use this site, but it definitely turns weeks of tedious experimentation and code tweaking down to just minutes to find a code-class and implement it on your site.

You will have to register to use their site, but they aren't spammy at all and they have an active job section to drum up a few extra bucks before your next vacation! Or to hire out the PHP work you don't/won't/can't do yourself.
